Prof. Dr. Antonio Adami
He has a post-doctorate in Communication from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (2014) and in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP, 2010). He holds a PhD in Semiotics and Linguistics from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP, 1994) and a degree in Portuguese Language from PUC-SP (1985). Since 2014, he has been a visiting professor at the Faculty of Information Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). His academic career is consolidated in the interface between communication, culture and sound media. His research focuses on radio language and sound formats. He also works as a cultural producer and develops projects that link communication, art and social participation.

Profa. Dra. Carla Montuori Fernandes
She has a post-doctorate in Political Communication from the Universidad de Valladolid (Spain, 2020) and in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP, 2012). She holds a PhD in Social Sciences with an emphasis on Political Communication from PUC-SP and a Master's degree in Communication from Universidade Paulista (UNIP). She graduated in Social Sciences from Universidade da Cidade de São Paulo and in Data Processing from Instituto Presbiteriano Mackenzie. She is the coordinator of the Research Group “Media and Media in the context of post-truth” and a researcher at the Center for Studies in Art, Media and Politics at PUC-SP. Her academic career is marked by research into communication processes linked to language, power and the formation of political narratives in contemporary society. She coordinates the research group “Means and Media in the Context of Post-Truth”, in which she articulates reflections on discourse, political imaginary, subjectivity and disinformation.

Profa. Dra. Clarice Greco Alves
She has a post-doctorate in Communication Sciences from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (2018), where she also obtained her doctorate and master's degrees. She has a degree in Advertising from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG). Vice-leader of the Audiovisual Product Analysis Study Group (GRUPA) at UNIP, she was a researcher at the ECA-USP Telenovela Study Center (CETVN) and the Ibero-American Television Fiction Observatory (OBITEL) for ten years, acting as vice-coordinator of the Obitel Brazil-USP group between 2016 and 2018. She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the organization responsible for the Emmy Awards.
Areas of interest: communication, with an emphasis on popular culture, television fiction, television criticism, telenovela, quality in television and studies on fan culture.

He has a post-doctorate in Communication from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar, 2014). He holds a PhD in Communication Sciences from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP) and a master's degree in Communication and Culture from the School of Communication of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (ECO-UFRJ). She graduated in Social Communication with a major in Journalism from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). He leads the GRUPA Research Group - Analysis of Audiovisual Products at UNIP. He was coordinator of Compós' Cinema, Photography and Audiovisual Studies Working Group (2020-2021) and Intercom's Cinema Research Group (2015-2016).
Areas of interest: film theory and history, documentary film, theories and research methods in communication.

Profa. Dra. Heloísa de Araújo Duarte Valente
She has a post-doctorate from the Department of Cinema, Radio and Television of the School of Communication and Arts of the University of São Paulo (2003) and a PhD in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), with an internship at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. Founder of the Center for Studies in Music and Media (MusiMid), she conceived and coordinates the Music and Media Encounters, held annually since 2005. She worked as a collaborating professor in the Graduate Program in Music at the University of São Paulo (PPGMUS/USP) between 2006 and 2022. She has been a guest professor at institutions such as the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2002), the University of Aveiro (2010) and the Universidad de la República in Uruguay (2014). She was a member of the Board of Directors of the Latin American Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM-AL) between 2014 and 2018. She is a member of the research groups GRIMCEL (Universidad de Oviedo) and Caravelas - Núcleo de Estudos da História da Música Luso-Brasileira (CESEM, FCSH-UNL). She is the editor of the Brazilian Journal of Music and Media Studies. She has a CNPq research productivity grant.
Areas of interest: relations between music, culture and the media; interdisciplinary studies involving the applied social sciences (especially communication), semiotics of culture and music.

Profa. Dra. Laura Loguercio Cánepa
She has a post-doctorate from the Department of Cinema, Television and Radio at ECA-USP (2014) and a research internship as a visiting lecturer at the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies at the University of Leeds (2019). She holds a PhD in Multimedia from the Institute of Arts at Unicamp, a master's degree in Communication Sciences from ECA-USP and a degree in Journalism from FABICO-UFRGS. She has worked as a coordinator and lecturer in the Postgraduate Program in Communication at Anhembi Morumbi University. She is a member of the Brazilian Society for Interdisciplinary Communication Studies (INTERCOM) and the
Brazilian Society of Cinema and Audiovisual Studies (SOCINE). She was editor of the journals INSÓLITA - Revista Brasileira de Estudos Interdisciplinares do Insólito, da Fantasia e do Imaginário and REBECA - Revista Brasileira de Estudos de Cinema e Audiovisual. She is a member of the research groups “History of Experimentation in Cinema and Criticism” (USP) and “Studies of Horror and the Unusual in Communication” (UAM). In 2018, she was awarded the Luiz Beltrão Communication Sciences Prize (Emerging Leadership category) by INTERCOM.

Profa. Dra. Barbara Heller
She has a post-doctorate in Communication from the Methodist University of São Paulo (2011) and from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (2015). She holds a PhD in Literary Theory from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP, a master's degree in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo - USP and a degree in Literary Theory from the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP. She leads the research group “Narratives of Memory: Representations, Identities and Cultures”. Founder and member of the Rememora research network. She was coordinator of the “Memory in the Media” Working Group at Compós (2015-2017). She currently chairs the Poetic Freedoms Association, which is responsible for actions to reward sentences for reading in the Capital's Women's Penitentiary (PFC), developed from her research into the field of communication and memory.
Areas of interest: communication and literature, with an emphasis on the following themes: censorship, social memory, reading, print media.

Profa. Dra. Malena Segura Contrera
He has a post-doctorate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008). She did research internships on Communication Policy at the University of Seville (2000), on Multiculturalism and the Media at the University of Vienna (1998) and on Mimesis and Media Rituals at the Free University of Berlin (2010). She holds a doctorate and a master's degree in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and is a specialist in Jungian Psychology from the Jungian Institute for Teaching and Research (IJEP). She has been a guest lecturer at the universities of Valdivia (Chile), Valencia and Autónoma de Barcelona (Spain). She is the founder and deputy leader of the Media and Imaginary Studies Research Group. She was a member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Research in Semiotics of Culture and Media at PUC-SP (1992-2018). She was a proposer and coordinator of the WG Image and Media Imaginaries of the Compós Meeting and a CNPq research productivity grant holder until 2021.
Areas of interest: communication theory, archaic cultures, contemporary culture, electronic media, mythology, mimesis, resilience and analytical theory.

She is a member of the international research network of the CLACSO Working Group “Youth and Childhood in Latin America”. Leader of URBESOM - Research Group on Urban Cultures, Music and Communication.
She was a member of the Board of Directors of IASPM-LA (International Association for the Study of Popular Music - Latin American Section) in the 2018-2022 biennium. She was vice-coordinator of the WG “Sound and Music Studies” of COMPÓS (2021-2022) and coordinator of the GP “Communication and Urban Cultures” of INTERCOM (2017-2020).
